MEGALUX-BEADS® are characterized by crystal clear color, up to 95% roundness, increased daytime, nighttime & wet-night retroreflectivity, custom coatings for performance binders, excellent results in long-term reflectivity tests, uniform quality due to SWARCO's ISO 9001:2000-certified quality management. MEGALUX® glass beads are particularly suited for high performance road marking systems requiring optimum retroreflectivity and durability: thermoplastic, coldplastic, profiled, structured and 2-component marking systems.

SWARCOLUX glass bead blends of SWARCOFLEX standard beads and the top product MEGALUX-BEADS® provide the decisive plus for road safety.Thanks to the beads' retroreflective action, a vehicle's headlight beam is returned to the driver's eye, which results in a light-up effect of the striping.The microspheres not only multiply the visibility of road markings at night, but also increase the striping's durability in general.Due to their superior retroreflectivity under wet night conditions, SWARCOLUX bead blends are particularly suited for technically more demanding road marking systems such as waterborne paints and sophisticated structured or profiled stripings of thermo- or 2-component coldplastic (type II markings).
